Lilly and the War Pony

This shoot is special to me. This is a concept I have been wanting to do for a very long time now. When I first set the date for the workshop and started trying to narrow down ideas for which shoots I wanted to do this was my first pick. So a few months ago I sent out a model call on Facebook looking for models for our workshop shoots. Lilly’s mother had sent in her information because she fit the age range I was looking for, for the other shoot. I had already filled the spot for her age but thought she would be beautiful for the “War Pony” shoot even though I had originally planned on having an older girl.

It was pretty cold and the wind was REALLY blowing, but Miss Lily was a PRO! A lot of people find it hard to believe that she is just 8 years old. She is such a beautiful little girl and I am so thankful that she and her mom were willing to spend the day with us and put their trust in me to capture these.
