About the Photographer

Hi, I'm Tara; I've lived in Texas my whole life. My husband B and I have been married for 18 years and have a sweet 14 year old little girl, (Briley aka Bear or Bri) and a wild little 9 year old boy, (Beau aka Beau Boy or Beaubo.) We love Disney and traveling but I'm also a home body. We live in a small community right outside of Paris, Texas on a 30 acre ranch where we raise miniature Hereford and Highland cattle, Baby Doll Sheep, KuneKune Pigs and a bunch of chickens. I've always been a tomboy but I also love all things glitter and sparkly.

Tara Swain Photography, LLC was established in January of 2008. I know that I am truthfully blessed to have the oppurtunity to do this everyday. My photography business has given me an amazing creative outlet to carry out so many dreamy, fun concepts and ideas. Child photography is my true passion. My style is happy, whimsical and unique. This road has taken me far from what I originally "planned" for myself, but I could not be more grateful. I truly love what I do and strive for it to show in my work. I've been honored to have worked with so many amazing people from all over the United States. I've had clients travel from across the U.S. and I've had clients who have brought me to them in other states and countries.
