2011

I can’t believe that 2010 is already coming to a close. So much has happened and changed this year but I still can’t believe that were just a few weeks away from 2011. God has definitely blessed us this year and I’m also so grateful that he allows me to continue doing something that I love. Each year I strive to grown and better this business. With the whirlwind of the last half of this year and dealing with the house, health issues, an enormous workload and just life in general, updating the website and launching the new blog were put on hold. Hoping to be able to slow down a bit after the first of the year so that I can work on those again!

Although I’ve come a very long way from working 7 days a week.. most of the time 14-16 hour days, I’m still very bad at sticking to schedules that I set for myself. When we started working on house plans, while working on the studio space we made sure to keep in mind that it was a business.. and that we wanted to keep it separated from our home, and hopefully make it easier for me to be able to actually leave my desk and not be thinking about business things while I’m spending time with my family. The past few weeks that we’ve actually been here have been complete chaos, with trying to get unpacked and set up before Briley’s 1st birthday party. But now the time has come to finally stick to the goals I set for myself and promised B back when we discovered I was pregnant and started the process of building the house.  I’ll continue to return emails and messages as quickly as possible, but during hours of the week that I set aside for work. Phone calls will still be returned 1 day a week. Within the next month or so I’m going to look over and update pricing as well. To book at the current pricing you would need to have your contract and deposit/retainer turned in before the new pricing goes up on the website. I’m currently scheduling for late July- only 2 session dates still available. I also plan on implementing a few new things such as in home or in studio design consults if your interested in ideas on how to display framed prints or canvas wraps as well as in home or in studio consults on pre ordering print collections, and within the next few months I look forward to ordering new product samples for the studio! :)

The house is still coming together, as is the studio. I’ve already had several sessions in the studio and they’ve been amazing. I’ve got so many awesome things in store and planned. :) I want to thank everyone for your continued amazing support and business. I’ve been so blessed to be able to work with each and every one of you and I cannot wait to see what 2011 brings. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! :)
