I adore this sweet little family. We have all been dying to know if the “Newest Newberry” was going to be a boy or a girl since they first announced they were pregnant. Desiree has been a trooper through this pregnancy because this sweet baby did NOT make it easy on her. Not to mention they attended a dance competition in Dallas the day AFTER her due date. Almost 2 weeks after her due date when this baby actually made their arrival, we look back and laugh about how we were all convinced she was going into labor THAT night.

This family has already been blessed with 3 of the sweetest, most beautiful daughters you can imagine. Desiree and Cody chose to wait until the birth to find out if they were being blessed with another little girl or a boy.. so we have all been anxious for that day.

The delivery was not easy.. and in fact Desiree had to have a c-section that evening. MISS Sophia Claire just needed to make an entrance so as not to be out down by her sisters. This sweet GIRL was/is absolutely gorgeous.. and I can tell you with 110% certainty that Cody only THOUGHT he wanted a little boy.. because from the moment he saw Miss Sophia, he was smitten… as was Desiree. :D

Anlyn, Hannah and Lilly were SO excited to meet their new sister.. as was most of our dance studio. ;)
