Circus

I’ve been SO excited to get these on the blog. 1 week after the workshop I had a one on one with Megan, a photographer from San Angelo. She was interested in doing a styled wedding shoot, so I brought in Jessica of The Cotton Exchange, to help pull this together. When we first started talking about ideas, nothing really stood out.. then I told her that I had really been wanting to pull together a vintage circus styled shoot. Of course it would take a LOT of preparation.. so I didn’t know if we would be able to pull it together in time, especially with all the work that went into the workshop just the week before. Jessica loved the idea.. but was afraid of the same thing.. she said she would sleep on it and get back to me in the morning.. that next morning I had an email waiting for me in my inbox. I’m fairly certain she stayed up ALL night working on it too. :) She had pulled her style boards together and BLEW me away. She transformed it into a Water for Elephants/Vintage Circus concept that I absolutely FELL IN LOVE with. Jess knocked this one out of the park. We were able to incorporate a lot of my own items into this shoot.. along with a couple of Jessica’s vintage rentals.

A huge thank you to again to Gypsy Tails.. for making the trip to Paris again just a week later and the AMAZING job they did on “Boomer,” our prop/model. :) ..and another phenomenal job on Crystals hair and makeup by Tiffany P of Smokin Hot Makeup!! LOVE our ring leader tub painted by Dayna Ballard Signs!! ..AND of course a big thank you to our models.. who were perfect for this concept. I love this little family and they are always a pleasure to work with. :) A few favorites from the shoot…
